Registration of a company, individual entrepreneur or organization in Armenia is a very fast and simple procedure. Armenia is on one of the first places in terms of the number of opening companies in the world per capita.
To open an LLC you only need to have a passport (if the applicant is a foreigner, he must have a notarized translation of the passport into Armenian), fill out an application and submit documents to the State Register of Armenia. All standard constituent documents (Charter, decision to open a company) can be provided by the State Register on the spot. The procedure for opening a company takes a maximum of 1 hour. Opening an LLC is absolutely free and no state duty is charged, for opening the form of an Individual Entrepreneur, the state duty is minimal and amounts to 3,000 drams (about $ 7)
*Making a seal is not mandatory by law, however, entrepreneurs tend to obtain a company seal, which may be requested during the company’s operations.
